Five Iron Frenzy
Grab the old five iron, it's time for a frenzy. Great news, Five Iron Frenzy is back! As one of the best ska bands from the 90's (Christian or not), Five Iron Frenzy was always blasting in my car. With such a great voice from frontman Reese Roper, and their fun, goofy lyrics, it was hard not to like these guys. FIF made five studio albums before they finally succumb to the fall of ska, pretty impressive if you ask me. But now, after eight years of retirement, they have returned with a new album scheduled for 2013! Their new single can be heard at fiveironfrenzy.com, check it out.
Being a Denver native (like FIF), I was always bummed that I never saw these guys play live, well here's my second chance. With shows and festivals booked throughout 2012, I'm not passing this up. And maybe I'll even see them play with fellow Christian rockers Showbread? Now that's just getting too crazy...
